Mini Teachers - Lanyards / Stickers and Badges for Peer Support in Class

Mini Teachers - Lanyards / Stickers and Badges for Peer Support in Class

(0)
Mini Teachers - Lanyards / Stickers and Badges for Peer Support in Class. The editable powerpoint and PDF have: Mini Teacher Lanyards (please print and fold down the middle, then laminate them and punch a hole to make a lanyard or simply purchase the clear lanyard - the children love these as many actual teachers wear them too!) Circular stickers and badges - ideal if you have sticker paper. but also could be laminated and used as simple stickers. These have worked great at our school. The children who finish their work go over to the spare lanyards and then go round helping their peers. It’s a joy to watch. Why they are useful (also on Powerpoint): Appropriate for all primary aged children. Gives the children a desire to finish to a good standard. Gives the children ‘something else to do’ after they finish. Promotes ‘greater depth’ learning because if a child can explain a concept, it generally means they understand it at a higher level. Makes your life easier! (Fewer queues!) Rules I made for them (also on reverse of cards): Rules You can only be a mini teacher when you have finished your work. When helping another student you mustn’t give them the answer, only support them to get it. Remember to be positive and show a growth mindset when you help other people.
